How are you able to provide a better price than through Claris directly?
PK Information is a Claris Partner; consequently, Claris allows us to purchase licenses on behalf of clients at a lower price than what they offer to the general public, and we pass a portion of those savings on to you as well.
Are there discounts available?
Claris offers discounted licenses for education and non-profit entities, with some restrictions they set. Periodically, they’ll also make partners aware of special offers or discounts; if you purchase a qualifying license during the timeframe it’s offered, we’ll share that discount but reducing the cost of your license.
Additionally, purchasing more than one year’s worth of licensing also has reduced pricing, with the savings increasing as more years are purchased.Can I get a free trial of FileMaker?

What’s the minimum number of users? What’s the maximum?
For annual licenses, the minimum is 5 users. For perpetual licenses, the minimum is 1 user. Neither license type has a maximum.
Do perpetual licenses provide me with upgrades when a new version of FileMaker is released?
Perpetual licenses come with a one-year maintenance agreement that includes any new releases during that timeframe. The maintenance agreement can be extended to include additional years, but won’t include any new versions if allowed to lapse.While you remind me when my license or maintenance agreement needs to be renewed?
Yes—but we won’t spam you with constant reminders. We’ll take the stress of tracking renewal dates on your behalf and will reach out to coordinate those arrangements.
