PK Information Systems is hosting FileMaker Bootcamp: Work Fast and Build Things as a free career training opportunity—a $5000 value! You’ll learn how to design, build, and implement your own database in a hands-on environment that gives you resume-worthy experience in FileMaker. This class is perfect for anyone interested in software development or currently seeking new skillsets.
Beginning in October, we’ll meet two evenings per week for six weeks. Our FileMaker-certified developers will host these training sessions at PK Information’s Saint Petersburg office. Sessions will be approximately 2–3 hours in length. Free dinner and childcare will be provided. The remaining days of the week are free development days where you’ll work independently on your capstone database in preparation for the next session. Session recordings will be made available for review.
A maximum of eight individuals will be accepted.
Requirements
Supplies: You must provide a computer (preferably a laptop), a stable internet connection, as well as a webcam and a microphone. Tablets such as iPads will not work. Each participant will receive one (1) copy of FileMaker Pro 19 Advanced for use in the class.
Age: All participants must be 18 years of age by the beginning of the course.
COVID: Two sessions per week will be held in our sanitized offices. You must agree to abide by and follow our COVID-19 safety protocols.

Masks will be worn (covering mouth and nose) when inside our facility and not eating.
Wash or sanitize your hands frequently. Hand sanitizer will be made available during the learning sessions.
If you have been exposed to COVID or are symptomatic, acquire a negative PCR test prior to physically returning to the learning sessions.
If you test positive, you must wait ten (10) days before physically returning to the learning sessions.
Act with honor, respect, and kindness for PK employees as well as other bootcamp members.
If you’re symptomatic of test positive, we’ll work with you to make sure you can join sessions via Zoom, if you’re able and willing to continue.

Participation does not guarantee employment upon completion but does guarantee consideration for part-time and full-time roles with PK Information.
